Emma Boylan comes from an educational background in Psychology, Public Relations and Marketing and has a Diploma in Digital Marketing with a Certificate in Social Media. Emma worked with the Chamber of Commerce in Letterkenny before starting her own business; Outside the Box in 2013. Since then, Emma has worked with a variety of companies improving their businesses.
Emma has delivered workshops and training for many individuals, companies and organisations some of which include the Chamber of Commerce, Woman in Business, North West Skillnet and Discovery Zone. Emma is the lead trainer on a new training programme coming to Ireland ; SmartBase. Emma is a regular guest speaker at College and events around Ireland. Emma will be speaking at The National Women’s Enterprise Day in Ireland in 2015.
Emma is an avid networker. She is a member of Business Network International (BNI). She is a mentor in BNI Strong Hold Donegal and BNI Ambassador for BNI Inish Donegal and BNI Silgo helping hundreds of businesses make more money. Emma sits on the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce Council, the Letterkenny Town Team Council and is also an active member of Donegal Women in Business.
In 2014 Emma set up and become President of a successful new Junior Chamber International (JCI) Branch in Donegal, Ireland. Emma is now JCI Ireland Director of Communications for 2015. As JCI Director of Communications, in 6 months, Emma has developed a communications plan for the year for JCI, mentored and delivered training to branches around Ireland. Emma’s encouragement to all branches to have more active PR online and offline resulted in national media exposure, trending on twitter, two new branches in the process of setting up and a wider understanding of what JCI Ireland is.
Emma has experience and education in business development and since starting, the company has helped many clients from many different companies and sectors, from politicians to beauticians and everything in between!
